Her father was an editor for The Olympian in Washington. When she graduated from Tallahassee Florida's high school she began her study at Boston University. Later, the school transferred her to Rhodes College and University of Florida. The actress has always had an interest in the performing arts. When she was a kid, she took classes for dancing and acting. She quit college and moved from New York to Angeles to start a successful acting career. Her debut film was the short Lucy's Piano in 2006. She starred in a significant role on the film 17 Again in 2009. She then appeared in Alice McKee playing the main character in the action fantasy film Blood: The Last Vampire. It was 2009 when she had her first major TV breakthrough when she played the part of Alice McKee on the film of fantasy action Blood The Last Vampire. Also, she played major roles on the series Terra Nova Go On and Selfie. Recently, she was seen on A Million Little Things - a series about a family drama - and thirteen Reasons Why - starring in both the main part as well as the playing a supporting.
