Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini an entrepreneur. She is of Italian, German (from the paternal maternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descent. Linda was raised in San Francisco Bay and grew to be the youngest among four kids. As a ten-year-old old, Linda became fascinated by acting when she performed a musical role during her school's Christmas play. Her school productions included plays and local community theatre. Linda went to Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. When she graduated, she had to make a decision about whether she wanted to go into New York to pursue theater or Los Angeles to pursue film and television. Linda chose LA. Linda's first part was in the show in 1996 Bone Chillers. Freaks and Geeks, 1999 was her breakthrough part. In the critically acclaimed show, she played the role of decathlete Lindsay Weir. The show was awarded an Emmy Award under the category of Outstanding Casting Comedy Series.

Lily James, born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson in 1989 (born April 5th), is a English actress. She studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and started her career with the British TV show Just William (2010). Cinderella (2015) was her first film following the time she was the lead actress in the role of Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey, the time-based drama. James was then cast as Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. She has also starred in a variety of films, including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018. She also appeared in The Dig 2021, as and musicals Mamma Mia! and Here We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). The role she played as Pamela Anderson in the biographical show Pam & Tommy (2022) earned her nominations for a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
